 Videoconference Streaming
The Torrent CE can stream any H.323 videoconference by dialing into a conference as an H.323 endpoint. It receives the audio and video from the conference and then streams them, via unicast or multicast, to any computer with Apple QuickTime, RealOne, and Windows Media Player installed. This enables large audiences to view the videoconference without the need for expensive conference equipment. The audience can watch from their desktop computers and not have to travel to a crowded videoconference room.
Videoconference Record
The Torrent CE can record videoconferences for later playback on demand. Recording takes place simultaneously while streaming. Videoconferences can be stored for record keeping or for absent conference attendees. This can be used in distance education, enterprise training and many other applications.
H.323 Compatibility
The Torrent CE is fully H.323 compatible. It can dial into any H.323 compliant device including endpoints, Multipoint Control Units, and Gateways. The Torrent CE fully supports Gatekeepers, E.164 and H.323 alias dialing.

If higher performance storage is needed, an optional Fibre Channel interface can also be used to connect any JBOD or RAID to the Torrent CE. Finally, the Torrent CE supports NFS mounted file systems. Existing network storage can be used for streaming files.
