VCON has a wide range of tools for developers to use in creating custom applications for specific markets and interests. These tools can be used to create applications on top of VCON's hardware videoconferencing products (Escort, Cruiser, ViGO™and Monitor boards) or, in conjunction with VCON's MXM, developers can create software only videoconferencing applications. Additionally, if a developer wanted to embed a videoconferencing application into an non-traditional device for videoconferencing, like a TV-cable settop box, VCON has a unique set of APIs for that purpose.
The support for developers creating custom applications comes straight from VCON's product development team, so VCON development tool customers are ensured the highest level of support during the development cycle.
When a custom solution has been developed, VCON does not charge royalties on any of the sales of the custom developed solution. Additionally, developers can create applications that run over multiple devices - ViGO™and Escort and Monitor boards - and the developers will only pay one fee to VCON for the original development kit.
